Exclusive Interview: Nikki Kane

Hey Nikki, thanks for talking with us today. How’s everything going? What have you been up to?
We’ve been working a lot on The Four, the big movie we’re doing. We’ve been doing a lot of promo stuff for that and it’s been fun. I’m just sitting around chilling out now.

Tell me a little about yourself growing up. What were you like as a teenager?
I never did too much. I was really into cars. I like working on my car. I had one boyfriend and we fucked a lot but I didn’t fuck a lot of boys back then. I had never been with a girl when I was a teenager, either. I’ve always been very artistic, too. I’ve been that way my whole life.

I was definitely going to ask you about your artwork. I read that you feel it’s very important to you. What do you use most – pencil, oil, watercolor?
I mostly use pencils. I used to paint when I was younger. I mostly just draw now. I’ll draw anything from cars to portraits. I’ve done a lot of things.

Do you see it as a release in a way?
It’s something that’s very personal to me. I guess you could say it was a kind of release.

What kind of jobs did you have as a teenager?
I never did. I was a spoiled rich kid growing up! I went to college before I started doing porn.

Do you remember the first time you were exposed to porn or any adult material?
When I was a kid I’d see my father’s Playboys and Penthouse magazines. I wanted to be in the magazines so I started out with a Penthouse shoot. I submitted pictures online and got a response really quickly. That was in the Spring of 2006 and I found out I could have a career doing solo and softcore work. I moved out in July of 2006 and I did that until June of this year when I started doing hardcore stuff. That’s how I got in. I always wanted to be in the magazines and it went from there.

What part of the magazine made you want to be in it?
I just wanted to be that sexy, beautiful, fantasy girl that’s in the centerfold. That was it.

Were you nervous when you did your first shoot or were you excited?
It was exhilarating and exciting. When I did it the first time I knew that’s what I was meant to do. I enjoyed it so much. I was out in the desert all day and it was the best experience I ever had. I knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life and make a career out of.

How hard was the transition to hardcore?
Not at all. I drove out here and I rented a room from one of my friends and I met a lot of people in the industry. It was really easy.

People always give porn stars a bad rap, but everybody I’ve ever met in the adult industry has been extremely nice and would give you the shirt off their back if they had to.
I’ve done mainstream work and it can be so much sleazier. Sure, it’s porn and you’re fucking, but everything is up front. I’ve had a good agent my whole career and that’s a big part of it. There are shady characters but if you really try you won’t end up working with a shady character.

Tell me about getting signed with Ninn Worx_SR. You’ve not been in the industry very long and you’re already a contract girl!
I started doing hardcore in May of this year and I signed with them in September. It’s been wonderful. Our styles are very similar and we work really good together. It’s a great union.

Their stuff always looks awesome…
It does. It’s very high-class. It’s not raunchy. It’s beautifully done. It’s artistic and creative. I really like that. It’s can get dirty but it’s still really sexy.

What are some goals you have for your career and your contract with Ninn Worx_SR?
I want to be one of the most successful people in the industry. This is really important to me and I love it and I’m really good at it. I want to really make a name for myself. I want to really grow with Ninn Worx_SR and become a household name. I want to be someone everybody knows and respects as a great performer.

Are there people you’d like to work with that you haven’t had the chance to yet?
Yeah – I’d like to work with Brittney Skye, Jenna Jameson and Jesse Jane. I don’t think that can happen since we’re both contract girls. Most of the guys I’ve wanted to work with I’ve been able to but there are definitely some girls I’d like to work with.

I’ve gotta ask a music question or two! What kind of music do you like?
Mostly rock but I do like Eminem. I’ve been listening to Marilyn Manson nonstop the past couple of months and I love Nirvana and Staind and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I’m a rock chick.

Do you go to a lot of concerts?
No, I don’t. I don’t really like the whole concert atmosphere that much.

Nikki, thanks for taking time out for this. What would you like to tell your fans?
I really appreciate their support and I’m glad to have them as fans. I hope they continue to enjoy my work! Whatever I am is because of them!
