Maddy O’Reilly, who received a slew of award nominations for her mind blowing 2012 performances – including the honor of Best New Starlet nominations from both AVN and XBIZ – is working more than ever.
With shoots lined up for the rest of the calendar year Maddy is slated to work with the biggest names in adult. “I feel blessed to be working so much,” Maddy confesses. “I just really love what I do and I pour myself into every scene. I am grateful the fans, critics, producers, and directors can see that. It just inspires me to work even harder!”
One of her newest releases is the all-girl feature “Shades Of Pink” from Mile High Media. The kinky lesbian movie of dominance and submission also stars Justine Joli, Kirsten Price, Dana DeArmond, Sinn Sage, and Kiera Winters.
In “Shades of Pink,” Justine Joli is a woman who knows what she wants. She has a well-trained slave in Maddy O’Reilly, who is sexual perfection; but it’s time for Maddy to move on to another Mistress. So Justine has to search for her replacement: a woman she can bring pleasure to; a woman open to more than an ordinary life has to offer. Upon spotting Kirsten Price, Justine knows Kirsten “is” that woman. By introducing different women into Kirsten’s life, Justine slowly begins the process of breaking Kirsten, turning her into the woman she always yearned to be and Justine’s ultimate slave.
Rock Confidential caught up with Maddy O’Reilly to talk about her ambitious porn career and her role in “Shades Of Pink.”
How are you? How have things been going?
I’m great, thanks for asking!
Let’s start off by finding out what you were like when you were younger – were you shy, outgoing?
I’ve always been more on the shy side but I was more of a prankster when I was younger. I was always getting in trouble for setting “traps” for people.
Do you remember when you first became comfortable with your sexuality?
I didn’t become 100% comfortable with my sexuality until I shot my first scene. I’m from a very conservative town so I always felt guilty for wanting to do all of these dirty things!
Do you remember the first time you saw porn or any adult material?
I was so young. I remember sneaking into my grandpa’s garage and there was this HUGE poster of this brunette with her legs spread wide open and a phone cord wrapped in between her pussy lips.
How do you remember your first year in porn?
It went by so quickly! Porn is still the same for me now… I get super excited before shoots, trying different things and different people. I was definitely more shy when I first came in and more scared to just let everything go.
Did you have any misconceptions about the porn industry before you started?
No, but I think that has a lot to do with the girl who helped me out before I started. She was kind of like a porn sister!
Tell me about your role in Sweetheart Video’s “Shades Of Pink.” Was it difficult to step into or were you thinking BRING IT ON!?
I play Justine Joli’s slave. Justine uses me as one of the women to help “break” Kirsten. When I heard about the movie I was ecstatic! I couldn’t wait to be a part of it.
The Master and Slave scenarios in “Shades Of Pink” aren’t just for porn films. Real people make that a part of their life every day. Have you ever introduced that into your life outside of porn? Are you more comfortable as a Master or Slave?
I haven’t experienced being someone’s slave in real life yet. I would love to live that lifestyle so hopefully I’ll find someone who is as into it as me. I’m way more comfortable being the submissive one as opposed to dominating someone. I want to feel the pain, not give it!
“Shades Of Pink” is classified as lesbian porn. Do you approach your scenes differently when doing a scene targeted to a female audience as opposed to boy/girl porn?
I know personally that I don’t like watching lesbian porn that looks forced or that lacks a sincere connection. I feel like most girl/girl fans would agree so when I’m shooting girl/girl it’s like I fall in love with the girl for the day.
Does knowing who your potential audience may be interest you or are you more concerned with people enjoying your work?
I want to know my potential audience. I want to be able to please everyone’s taste.
What attracts you to your job? Money, sex, glamour – all the above?
I was kind of naive about the money aspect. I thought girls with larger brands made the money. I was shocked when I was offered $900 for my first scene. It’s all about the sex and the beautiful people I get to experience.
Have you ever second-guessed your decision to be a porn star?
My only regret is not doing porn sooner.
How far do you want to take your career? What else would you like to do?
I want to take my career as far as it will go. I can honestly say I don’t want to be doing anything else. I want to try anal eventually and gang bangs and dp’s. There’s nothing that I don’t want to do.
The adult industry has changed so much over the past few years. Tube sites are killing the retail side of things and there really isn’t a business model anymore. How do you think porn should be marketed?
Hmm…give customers the option to stream every single shoot live and be able to have some creative input regarding the scene.
I’ve gotta ask – what kind of music do you like?
Anything and everything except country.
What was your first concert? Who have you seen most recently?
My first concert was Britney Spears. The most recent concert I’ve been to was the Rick Ross & Lil Wayne concert back home.
What are some things you’ve got coming up we should know about?
My website is finally in the works along with Maddy Merch! I’ll have a launch date soon.
What would you like to say to your fans?
You guys are the best! Thanks for the continuous support & love.
