Exclusive Interview: Lizzy Borden

Lizzy Borden is the industry’s premiere iconic woman director. Having started out in the business as talent, falling in love with Rob Black on the set of The Pornographer, and then unleashing her raging sexuality and disturbing ideas spun from the eerie webs of twisted sickness strung throughout her mind. Some of her more popular titles have been the Cocktails series, Forced Entry, and the SIDS series. Monster Asses is her latest release.

Here’s our exclusive interview with Lizzy to give you a little more information about this busy gal.

Thanks for taking time for this Lizzy! For those that don’t know, please tell us how you got into the whole world of entertainment.

Basically I was going to college and decided that college wasn’t for me. I wanted to be a stripper. I auditioned and I got to be a stripper. I met Jill Kelly. I was following her around and I thought her career was kinda cool. I knew I could make a lot of money. I had a girlfriend and a boyfriend. They both cheated on me at the same time so I decided I was going to be a bisexual whore! I got into porno and did a few movies. I didn’t know if it was for me. I retired and became a director. I got into wrestling and horror movies. Now I’m doing Crash Music, modeling for Evil Threads and tons of other stuff. It started with adult and just got into everything else.

You said that both your boyfriend and girlfriend were cheating on you and that made you want to get into porn. Was that the only reason – kinda like a revenge?

Here’s the thing. I had a boyfriend. He cheated on me so I decided to become a lesbian. I got a girlfriend and she cheated on me with a boy. I decided that I hate love but I want to make a lot of money and not have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. I’ll just bang everybody and make a lot of money. That would just be easier, right? I knew I couldn’t do it. You still have to love people. You still have feelings. It’s still lonely. You can’t just bang people. You’ll want a relationship. Now I have girlfriends and everything so I love it. I guess I’m a swinger.

When did you get into adult?

When I was 20 years old. I’m going to be 30 this year so I’ll have my 10 year anniversary this December.

One thing that a lot of people know you for is the crossover stuff you did with wrestling. Tell me a little about that.

I was supposed to do something with Val Venis at Wrestlemania. Vince wouldn’t let me use my name. Rob said I shouldn’t do it if I was just gonna go out there like a little whore. You want them to use your name, right? I started doing stuff with ECW and they fucked us over. We just said “fuck it” and started our own wrestling company. We started XPW. We started pulling our friends into it. That’s how it started. I was sick and tired of people lying. We wanted to do the porn crossover. We used myself and Kristi Myst and Jessica Darlin and Jasmin St. Claire and Ashlyn Gere. We just did it.

Has your career gone as expected or have some surprises come up?

There are always surprises. I learned from a very young age to expect the unexpected. Things change so quickly. The thing that trips me out the most is when I’m at the mall and somebody recognizes me and wants an autograph. I still look at myself in the mirror as a little nerd. If I see myself in a magazine I still can’t really believe that it’s me.

You’ve got a new movie coming out…

Yeah! It’s called Gina Hates Lizzy. It’s my first movie back in about nine years. We shot it this past weekend. It’s really good. We used a bottle of Cristal. Just to let you know for reference – Cristal burns your eyes, pussy and ass!

I’ll totally remember that next time I put some in my pussy! (Expected smartass comment. I couldn’t help it. -Ed.)

(laughs) Just if you wanna use some on a girl! It was hard because we had to act like we liked it!

So this is the first one in nine years, huh?

I know! It’s crazy. I was doing a girl/girl with Gina Lynn. My mouth was numb because I went down on her for so long! I had to get back in the trenches because I haven’t been there in a while. It’s a lot of work. You have to open up and let the camera see. It’s not as fun as when you can just go and fuck someone! Gina and I got in a little trouble because we weren’t really paying attention. We were too involved with each other.

I can see from both points of view that it would be very easy to get distracted!

I know! I didn’t have time for that! I just wanted to make out with her. She’s so hot! I love her.

You two are also doing a tour together, right?

Oh yeah! We’re doing the Heaven and Hell Tour. That will kick off in October. We’re going to tour across the States. We’re also doing some stuff overseas. We’ve got some mainstream projects. We’re doing lots of stuff together. It’s fun. I love it and I love her. She’s wonderful.

I think I read that you wanted to make this tour like Blondage with more controversy.

Oh yes. This is going to take Blondage to the next level. We are both so hardcore. When I started dancing, she came out one night and helped me. The place just went nuts. That’s when I knew we had to do a tour. People realized we worked well together. Some girls go up there and just walk around the pole. They don’t pay attention to the fans. Gina and I drop off the stage – we’re very hands on. It’s very naughty, too. We’re very naughty girls.

Let’s talk a little about music. How important is it to you in your everyday life?

Music helps me write all of my movies. I listen to music and get into my zone. It helps me create. I also have it playing when I do photo shoots. I have to have it playing. Otherwise I can’t get into character. I have to be Lizzy Borden.

What did you listen to at your last photo shoot?

Anthrax, Pantera, Type O Negative, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Guns N Roses, Marilyn Manson.

What kind of music were you into when you were younger?

Probably something like Social Distortion. Guns N Roses. Metallica. Danzig. The Ramones come to mind a lot. I really like the Rolling Stones.

What was your first concert?

I wasn’t allowed to go to concerts when I was a kid. I was raised by my grandparents and they thought I would get kidnapped if I went to a concert. I was really sheltered. The first concert I ever went to was Offspring when I was 18. I went crazy! I realized I had been missing out. The first time I got goosebumps and cried was at a Metallica concert.

Do you collect music memorabilia?

I have so much stuff. Metallica, Rob Zombie, Doors, Kiss. My office is horror movies and rock n roll. You would think I was some kind of crazy person. You would think it is a boy’s office. It has pink walls with horror movie stuff and rock n roll stuff all over ‘em! So, what was the first tape you ever bought, Jesse?

Oh god. It’s not very metal, but I’m pretty sure it was a Weird Al Yankovic tape.

Oh my god. I’ll tell you my first one – I just remembered. You can’t say anything. (OK – I won’t. Not. – Ed.) It was Wham! I used to be in love with George Michael.

I don’t think you could get very far with that crush!

I don’t think so. He’d want anal!

But, if it helps – the first CDs I bought were Kiss and Scorpions.

Cool. I love the Scorpions. And Motley Crue. Those are my boys. Tommy Lee is an amazing drummer. I tell him all the time, “You’re the man!” I’m so glad his parents got him drums when he was a kid. I was at Ikea a few months ago and Nikki Sixx was there buying stuff. I said, “What are you doing in Ikea you fucking jerk-off?” He was buying some shelving. That’s gay! I love harassing people.

Lizzy, thanks again for the interview. What would you like to say to your fans?

I’m really excited about going on the road and meeting all the fans. I hope you’ll all come out and see me.
