Exclusive Interview: Brea Bennett

How have things been going?

It’s been non-stop for the past two years!

You’ve had a lot going on, I know. Tell me about your contract with Ninn Worx_SR.

That’s kinda the middle of my story! Let me start from the beginning. I got in the industry three years ago. I won a contest on Playboy TV. That contest included a contract with Club Jenna. I was with them for a year and a half and we decided that it was time to go in a different direction. I wasn’t really planning on signing another contract when I left Club Jenna. I wanted to focus on my work and take things slow. Like all things that are good, this just fell into my lap. I met with Ninn Worx_SR and all the girls they were planning on signing and it just seemed really organic and meant to be. I signed with them and I just did the biggest shoot of my career. I’m so excited. I really happy. This company has already exceeded my expectations.

What are some things you wanted to do with your career that your previous contract didn’t allow?

I’m a very artistic person. I’m a musician at heart. I have been singing since I was three. I wanted to incorporate all of my passions into my career. I’d rather not just focus on the adult industry, which is just one part of it. The company I’m with now wants to explore all options with me. I get to show all the talents I have and I feel I can express myself more now.

I’ve really noticed that the Ninn Worx girls are really artistic and musical compared to other girls in the industry! That really makes you all stand out! It really fits in with the Ninn Worx image, too.

Right. Being a Ninn Worx contract girl, you are bringing to the table what no other contract girl in the business has before. It’s not just about the sex scenes. It’s about how beautiful the girl is and how they can portray that on the outside. This is about a career. It’s not about making somebody some money and moving on. This is the real deal. I think people are going to take a step back when they see what this company has to offer.

Tell me more about your music. Are you looking to be an artist, a songwriter, a producer…

I have been writing music since I was very young. I’ve been in studio work and I’m doing studio work as we speak. I do music with my husband. That is the #1 on my mind and my heart. It’s going to happen one way or another. It’s just a matter of timing.

What does your stuff sound like?

I personally grew up singing opera. It can be anything from opera to heavy metal. I can be Charlotte Church one second and then I can be Kittie another. I’m very blessed with my talents. Music is my ultimate goal. I guess you could say my band sounds a little like a female version of Alice In Chains. It’s a mix of heavy with some softer stuff. It’s growing and evolving every day.

Just knowing that Eddie Van Halen composed music for a Ninn Worx movie – your contract company – must be pretty cool. Knowing that you’re getting to explore your music side is really cool.

Absolutely. I don’t think this company is going to allow itself to be limited. That’s awesome that it can break through it’s shell and not just stay in the “porn box.” It’s allowing itself to grow which I think is absolutely perfect for myself.

So if you were gonna hop in the car and listen to some music, what would it be?

My favorite band since I was 12 years old is Mudvayne. They are one of the most talented bands I’ve ever heard. Pantera. Hellyeah. Slipknot. I’m a little metal head as you can tell. I like some punk – the Used, the Dead Kennedys. I’m more of a hardcore girl at heart.

Let’s jump back a little. Tell me what you were like when you were younger.

I was a little bit of everything. My hair used to be very short and it was blue. I had a rainbow of colors in my hair. I have gauged ears. I have 13 piercing in my ears. I have a couple of tattoos. I could’ve been a punk one day and a goth the next. Now I’m a little bit of both but I spiced it up with a little bit of prettiness.

Do you remember your first exposure to anything adult related?

I think I was 14. It was the Cinemax stuff. I always found that stuff to be a little silly.

At what point did you think you might want to be in a magazine or movie?

I never thought of myself being an adult star. I moved to California and it just happened. I decided to explore it. I don’t know why. Aside from the obvious part that I love chicks! I got into the business and it seemed like it was meant to be. I’ve got a great career and a great name.

Has it been the way you thought it would be? Has anything taken you by surprise?

No, I haven’t been surprised. Where I am today, I’m extremely happy. I don’t think I would change a thing. I’m really enjoying watching my career grow.

Thanks again for taking time out for this. What would you like to say to your fans?

They know that they’re my friends as well. Thank you for sticking by me this past couple of months and through my mini-divorce with my past company. Thank you for your understanding and I would not be where I am today without you!
